November’s most important festivity is All Saints’ Day, celebrated on November 1st. This day has historically been linked to crowds of visitors gathering at the cemeteries in order to honor their deceased relatives and friends, a tradition that is still popular. Its most notable activity is the decoration of graveyards through floral arrangements. On this date, which goes on to the Dia de les Ànimes (November 2nd), Valencian people eat typical panellets de sants, which are small cakes or cookies made of marzipan. Recently, the international festivity of Halloween has reached Valencia. Several spontaneous parties are held at the city centre on the night between October 31st and November 1st
